FAQ
What is pyrography?
Pyrography—often referred to as "wood burning"—is the freehand art of decorating materials (like leather, wood, or paper) with burn marks using a heated tool. Artists use a pyrography pen, which operates much like a soldering iron but with interchangeable, temperature-controlled metal tips called nibs. By controlling hand speed, pressure, and the temperature of the pen, the artist creates a wide range of tones—from faint sepia shading to deep black outlines.
